starfish

has anyone ever seen a starfish laying eggs? my starfish are laying alot of eggs right now. what should i do to protect them?

Can you get a picture of this? What kind of seastars? Seastars don't really "lay" eggs and don't generally reproduce in captivity. I would very very much like to see a picture and know more about your stars (what kind, how long you've had them, how many, etc). If no picture, can you describe where you see these? Something coming out the arms or what?

the starfish are all black with white dots, a friend goes to florida alot and brought a bunch back. the eggs are gone but i do have some babies in my tank now. ill try to show you, my wife knows more about the digi cam than me. ohh, the eggs were coming out of the hole, where it eats. i had them for only 3mths. i think my pump sucked a bunch out though, cause i didnt know what to do when i saww the eggs being laid.
