Most will say your sg is too low for stars, slowly bring it up to 1.025 or so.

ok. I will bring it up slowly. I have a huge skimmer which might risk creeping up above 1.025 because of the evaporation factor. I guess it will be easier to control when my r/o di unit gets here, I think on monday. What do I have to do with r/o di water, just mix in the salt and buffer it? I've never used r/o di water before?
