Does anyone know how long it takes for a star to grow? I have lots of little stars in my tank, and after reading and reading all I could find is they live for a long time. Also, I bought a red star and it is on the small side, and i was curious how they grow?

Sounds like you may be talking about mini bristle stars if you have many. There tiny little stars that don't get very big. You usually find them in the rocks and such. There adorable I am waiting to get a few and want to here soon.

I actually have a bunch of those bristle stars, but I am talking about the other kind...not the ones with the wirey arms. Like a linckia, chocolate chip, red star

are you talking about asterina stars, they get about the size of a dime

I do not know what an asterina star is...These are starfish that look like regular starfish...babies
