Staring all over again

Hey guys, well i have had my 55 gal reef for about 1 and 1/2 years now and honestly im getting a little bored with it. When i first started the hobby i had no idea what i was doing and i made a LOT of mistakes. I am considering tearing it all down and starting all over again, this time with a little more knowledge. My question is i want the very best flow for my corals and it seems like my powerheads just are not getting the job done. What do you guys recommend for the best flow? thanks
P.S. i was considering the wave2k, anybody know anything about it?? www.wave2k.com

It seems as the having a tank with an overflow is the best way to get good flow. You just need to have a good return pump which will generate a great deal of flow. I also like Seio and Maxi Jet 1200's to help create additional flow.

tunzie 6100 turbelle streams
imho the very best in wave making and flow capacity for the size. will definately cost some $$$ if you are looking to invest. also you could just go with the closed loop idea which I have in my tank. a bit more cost effective for the average reefer and you can design your own flow patterns depending on how you plum it in. if youo are looking for small, effective and prob the top of the line you definately want to look into the streams.
I hope to get them myself soon

Well if you gonna ditch the powerhead then you would go with a bigger return pump that will split into mutiple heads. But it will cost more and plus suck more electric which will cost you a lot each month. A tunzie power head are pretty good as well they are build like a turbine like jet engine so that would give a lot of flow as well. But also you got to realize the bigger the tank the more flow will be require and if you gonna stick with a 55 gal it shouldn't take much to get as much flow as you want. I use a Rio 2100 which is pretty good I think and plus it doesn't consume as much power as some pump does. Just do some research on what your looking for.
