Stars And Stripes Puffer Eating Algae??????

I have a stars and stripes puffer, he is about four inches in leangth and eats like a horse, before i got the fish I had a lot of purple algae all over the place, then I got him and it all disappeared, is he eating it all or is there something wrong with my water??? :help: :help: :help:

might be your water :thinking: ..double chec on that..i got rid of my stars and strip puffer..he was nip'n at the base trunk of my bubble coral..he reminded me of a lil puppy,lol.he ate alot and took big poopys
