I prefer reverse lighting cycles as it keeps the pH stable.. 24/7 is more of a caluerpa thing...

for example:
DT light on 12 hours while fuge light is off 12 hours
....then 12 hours later...
DT light off for 12 hours while fuge light is on for 12hours...

plants really should respirate, its required to carry out metabolic processes. caluerpa is an anomaly I guess..

poor pat he dont get it! thats what i do with my tank. my fuge lights come on during the night and my DT lights during the day

but the 10g is not connected to the 20h
ill try and keep it on for 24/7 for a couple days to see how that works out if not ill change it up to 12hr on 12hr off.
just did a 5 gallon water change on the 20h, 2 gallon on the 10L and 3 gallons on the 14BC
parameters are A+ across the board
