Starting a 5 gl coral nano

Do I need to cycle a 5 gl if I get the water sand and l/r from my 75gl???

you wont have to but do a mini cycle just in case

Thanks.....I thought so....How long before I put up some corals and what do you guys recommend.....I have a 65 gl ( typo on the previous post) FOWLR, and want to have the 5 gl to try to learn a little about corals before I take the plunge on my display tank.....

i would wait a little bit, put all the lr in than a week or 2

the smaller the tank the harder it is
less water also means less room for error
corals need good water quality, water flow and proper lighting (don't think you will get enough water flow in a 5 gal)
IMo i would just start off with the easier corals in your dt and work your way up from their (shrooms, zoos, finger leathers) just make sure your lighting is sufficient for the coral you plan on getting
