Aren't a lot of damsels bully prone as well? Especially Electric Blues and the like? That's why I stayed away from them.... I went with the more passive damsel, the chromis......

Yeah... didn't turn out too well. But so far he is leaving everything/one else alone in the tank. I ask and was very specific that I wanted a peaceful fish and that is what they recommended. I will see if he does okay, they do not have a time limit on taking him back. If he bothers anyone straight into the QT he will go then back to my LFS. And I would like to switch him out for 3 green chromis fish :)

He's right.. Especially if there's any size difference in the Chromis. I only have one remaining now. The largest. I doubt they would "School" together even if they were the same size, due to the tank size. I didn't have this forum to research when I made my purchase... If so I would have been forewarned... Apparently the term "peaceful, schooling fish" is used loosely. Maybe in like a 150 gallon.....

I don't mean to deter you from the chromis by this statement, they are wonderful, peaceful fish. Just not so much with one another. LOL. My chromis is a great tankmate to everyone who doesn't resemble him.

That is not so great with a "schooling" fish, to not get along with each other. I purchased 5 reef chromis and I have a 90g tank. They did act like they would kill each other...fin nipping and such. They did learn to play well together and stop after about 2 weeks and the fins grew back.
