Starting my reef

well i just picked up my 10g for a new nano tank

and i am pretty excited bout it probly gonna turn it into a frag tank in the long run.

What are you gonna use for lighting?

i am still debating whether to get the 18" nova extreme t-5 fixture 2-18w, either that or the 4-24w t-5 nova extreme still trying to decide

although i am leaning towards the 4-24w just in case in the near future i decide to upgrade to a 20g or 30g

the 2 bulb if you wanna keep sps it will be kinda hard. but if you do proper water changes and dose then you will be ok. thats what im doing with my pico. not as for the 4-24w thats a better choice IMO

personally i think you will be better off with a retrofit kit. I'm using the nova 4x24w and imo, the contoured reflectors are too small. the bulbs are less than an inch away from each other and I can guarantee you that you'll get more par from an ice cap retrofit kit
