Ok this is a qt tank... 28 gal bio cube.. new ls water from exsisting 45 gal established tank lr that was from other tank as well All levels read good. no amonia no nitrates no nothing i have done the master sal test twice to be sure. basicly we got ick and originally didnt set up qt tank but now we have and they are all treated with copper pro and that was on saturday night. so far my flame angel fish is still got the white spots but is swimming actively. The two perc clowns are doing well too. My royal gramma.. well.. who knows... i think the flame is biteing her tail becuase yesterday it was allmost chewed off and this morning another chunk is out of it. and hes been laying there for two days.. not really breathing heavey but not eating either. My 45 tank was treated with copper pro as well ( leaving us with our big 75 gal as live everything coral ls lr ect with no copper to move them to wwhen they are better) Should i move the gramma to the other 45? Will his tail grow back? i heard it will.... and then there is my blue hippo...she LOVES to find hiding spots. and found this one right away... however she stays in there and i dont ever see her come out. I am worried that she isnt eating what if she is dead! i know i am panicing. do i lift that top rock off and see if she swims out and then replace it? do you think i should move her back to the 45 gal tank as well. I really dont want to loose my fish. :help:

Well personally I have ich on my coral beauty now. I am treating him in hypo. It took 7 days but the spots fell off. A few came back but are starting to fall off. I believe this is the life cycle and the hypo will end up killing it. My fish since developed a cloudy popeye and I am treating w/ Melafix.
You can treat your royal gramma with Melafix too. This will help his fin. I would suggest you do hypo. But I don't know if you should run carbon to get the copper out or not. I think copper can do more harm than good. But IDK as I am not an expert. Good luck getting some help with this
Also feed with fresh garlic. This should help also.
.
Hopefully lionfish will post here for you. He is helpful.

Try soaking mysid, bloodworms and/or brine in the garlic. The key is to start to get them to eat right off the top so they are up to the fight of fighting ich.
Hyposalinity works if you aren't too far into infestation - here is the link for you...
