Yep tried peppermint shrimp I think the aptasia ate them haven't seen them since about 3 weeks after I dumped 5 of them in there
. I also tried calcium chloride (took my calcium level throught the roof), Lemon juice, hot water with no luck the calcium did the best but I have too many aiptasia for this method. I am going to order some bergia nudis after the first of the year I think I have enough to feed them for a long while
.

That actually is not a bad idea. I have a friend that did just that and the aiptasia is gone. Recycle those, because you will run out of food evidentually.

I think my tank could give a bergia a run for its money, this tank started with about 6 aiptasia that had kept to themselves for about a year should have ignored my wife and killed them then :scared: . After I moved my tank about 3 months ago they started multiplying daily after that.

just pull out the affected pieces of rock and let the rock die off.
re-cure it and put it back in.
it worked for hair algae.

With base rock going for $9.99 a lb in this area I don't think so. I have paid as much as $100 (about $16 lb) for one rock in my tank so the idea of killing it does not appeal to me, there is to much life on these rocks to just anilate all of it to get rid of one pest.

I haven't noticed anything unless that is why my blue-green chromis disapeared, the tang and the blennie won't eat the algea in the places where there are alot of aptasia so I think it may sting them a little.
