starting up 90 FO finally...

OK I have finally finished all my plumbing and starting to add the water to my 90 FO but my question is how do you cycle out a tank without Live Rock???? do I do the dew and throw some Damsels in there after setting it up???? I am using a wet/dry and Protien skimmer and using crush coral. so I guess I will have to put the Damsels in..but after the tank cycles I know the LFS won't take them back........well let me know if this is what I will have to do...thanks

why you using cc i had it to begin with and it sucks sand is so much more better i would switch it out before you cycle it

Well first I thought of FOWLR but I don't really want live rock in this one..(I have 120 reef with live rock) second about cc,,well I was going to have just enough to cover bottom.. with live sand you usually need a deep sand bed.... pretty much want the focus to be on fish not everything else in tank....I did a search here and found some really good threads on LS vs CC its really a good read, if you get a chance.
