No, that was my permit (I had to drive with one of my parents). Here you have to have your permit for a year. Then you get your license but at first you can only drive from 5 am to 9 pm. After 6 months you to drive when ever.

I'm no more worried about your inexperience driving than other peoples pure stupidity. In fact, you pose less of a threat because you're less comfortable and less likely to do stupid things.
If I had to pick one thing I've learned while living in Texas, it'd be Texans are some of the worst drivers i've ever witnessed. I've done my fair share of travelling too.

Thank God I thought maybe it was just me, but Texans are horible drivers. and apparently the lanes are reversed in Texas. The right lane is the fast lane and the left lane is the slow lane. I used to Chicago driving and then moved to Kansas City, I thought the Kansas drivers were horible, but I'd trade them for Texas drivers anyday. being in Texas reminds me of being in the Bahamas, there are traffic laws, but they are more like suggestions and everyone does whatever they want anyways.

thats so not cool, ill be 18 in april and i dont have a license, SUCKS , I HATE IT, its so not even right to have to get a ride to frickin college
