ok....in good conditions...how long do they take to spread? i have only had this little colony for about 3 weeks...i can see what i think to be little ones but not sure. i don't want to rush anything...i am just curious. want to know everything about everything that i have...gargonian frags are polyped out...they seem to be doing quite well....although i keep hearing that yellow polyps spread like wild fire....have had mine awhile and i dont see any sighn of spreading...just the colony of the one i have are getting HUGE...whats up with that..?

I literally HAVE to frag mine every 2 weeks. If I dont.. things get ugly.
You should see the rock I have them on.. I fragged them less than a week ago and almost all of the areas that were cut are completely regrown. Its the fastest growing thing in my tank.

Do you feed the button polyps or the yellow polyps? Both will eat food often. (meaty pieces).

MEaTY pieces?? I did not know that. they may catch what falls, but i usually target feed them with Invertabrate target food....how would i prepare the meaty food...bein the polyps are so small?
