I have posted this in another forum, but gotten no responses. I hope some of the vets in here can help me out...
Does anyone have a good reccomendation for a UV sterilizer. I am working on an aggressive tank and need one to hel with the waste. I have a 65 g, what wattage should i be looking for? Any brands stick out as good or bad?

UV's don't do much for waste, they kill parasites mostly and other harmful things...
And unless you're talking about having a tank full of damsels, i think at most you could have 1 or 2 agressive fish in a 65.

Thanks! My question then is, with agrressives being messy eaters, and not being able to have cleaners in the tank, how do you keep the tank clean-ish?
I was under the impression that UV would "zap" the bio waste and prevent it from being harmful?

No..Unforunatley that's not the way it works.
What you want is an OVERSIZED (very oversized) protein skimmer. That will REMOVE the waste.
