I've never heard of an aquaclear rn500. lol.
I agree with Meowzer about ditching the gel food. Go with some frozen food, thaw it on the counter and easily rinse it before feeding.
The main thing you are going to want to do right now is to:
1. 75% water change immediately. Siphon out as much detritus and cyano as you can. Use a turkey baster and stir up as much of it as possible before the water change.
2. Ditch the Seaclone 100 and get a coralife super skimmer 65g
3. Buy a koralia powerhead rated for 55g minimum. Double it if you have the money.
4. Buy a better filter like an Emperor 400.
5. Test your water again in 3 to 7 days to see if your ammonia is zero.
Last thing you are going to do is buy some red slime remover and dose your tank. Read the directions carefully before you begin. You will have to do a 50% water change, so get your water ready.
I know that it's hard to get any money for your hobbies at 17 years old... You just have to work for what you want. If you want it bad enough, you will work for it and get it. Good luck and I hope to see you post again soon.
