It's not the post count, but how long the account has been established. Anybody can get a few hundred posts in a few days and that doesn't change anything.

One month AND 50 posts is the minimum to get PMs turned on. Keeps the spammers and bots to a minimum. I know it stinks for the new guys, but I've been on here over a year now, and I've sent less than 20 PM's, maybe 4 of which were necessary.
BTW Pulse, your attempt to up your post count by repeatedly posting nonsense must have gotten deleted, which lowered your post count.

It's not really a big deal to private message. I've sent very very few private messages in the last 10 months to a year that I've been on here... What are you trying to do? Spam everyone?

not a hot chick or spam. i just tried to send a couple of pm's about buying stuff and thanking someone. like i mentioned, i had pm capability very quickly with my other account and just thought something was messed up.

just let time fly and enjoy posting on threads. You can always gain knowledge and be patient on this website as well as being patient in the real world with your tank. It's good practice.
