Still Reservoirs for Limewater

There is a post in the DIY called auto topoff. Someone posted a link to an article on The Degradation of Limewater in air.
In short, mixing limewater in a large container and leaving it until it needs refilled... 2-3 weeks.
Does anyone have any experience with this? If so, how is it working for you?

That was me
The guy who wrote that article is well respected in reef aquarium chemistry. He routinely partners up with chemists from Salifert and others to solve tank chemistry problems. I definetly trust his research.
I plan on setting up a similar system soon. What a relief that would be, to only do this once every couple of weeks!
I would also love to hear from anyone who is doing this now.

kip, I'm doing mine similar to yours currently but I would sure like to hook the 20g topoff back up. Mainly for the times I'm out of town, my wife does ok but the easier the better... I think it would be nice to have a 2-week supply of topoff/ limewater...
