No, it is not the only filter. I also have an Aqua Clear filter on there too. When hubby came home he just about hit the roof, he said that it looked like something I paid a whopping price for. I told him to not worry, it was only $25.00CDN
It sure does a great job though, I have noticed the fish and water are so much better for the extra circulation alone. Not the most pretty looking thing, but it can be hid behind rock easily. I don't care if it sticks out and looks like it does, my tank is much better since I put on that extra filter and water flow.

Yes it is doing good, I just have to get more rock in time. I am enjoying it alot more now even though it is only a 10 gal. With my two ocellaris clowns, 1 yellow tail damsel, 1 chocolate chip star fish and 1 short spined sea urchin it is really interesting to sit and watch. Very peaceful and the urchin and damsel added that punch of color that I really needed for this tank. No fighting amongst the fish, the clowns rule the tank but do not bother the damsel at all. I am really enjoying it right now.

Oops...sorry to not see this for awhile. The urchin appears to be Lytechinus variegatus so far as I can tell. Some ingenious common name like "variegated urchin" or something.
