A 46 gallon is too small for any type of ray. They need a large open tank with almost no decoraions and sand for the substrate. They will eat squid, shrimp, pieces of fish.
They really need a tank dedicated to them to do well. They are also delicate shippers, need to be acclimated very slowly, and most meds will kill them.

they need at least a 300g. you can feed it pieces of marine fish. it needs a sandy bottom with alot of swimming space. it can eat all crabs and shrimp.it is safe with larger less aggressive fish..

Yes you need a bigger tank. Do some searching on info about the california "round" stingray they stay rather small.

A 46 Gal is too small a 75 Gal tank would be a minimum and larger would be better....but you don't need a 300 Gal tank, that is ridiculious.

Nurse sharks get bigger than this one this is 7 feet they get 14

so i would say bare minimum for a nurse 10000 gallons although id ask risc in the aggressive forum

This thread should really be in the aggressive forum.
The smallest tank any shark should be kept in long term is 180 gal for a small inactive shark like a bamboo.
Risc can give you good info on Nurse and other sharks.
