Looking for a new stock list for my 90 as a recent power outage and faulty surge protector cause a fish fry in my tank.
Was thinking about maybe going lots of small fish this time, any ideas. All i know is im definately getting a pair of true percs again.

how about a butterfly fish, have always liked them but have had too aggressive of tank mates when it came to feeding. but now i could build around the butterfly fish if i wanted

i really like the Pelewensis butterflyfish (5 inches) and orange butterflyfish (6 inches) [Not to be confused with orange face butterfly]. i have never had either one of these but they are beautiful fish. especially the orange butterfly, it gets a brilliant blue on its tail in addition to the polkadots all over its sides and the black band around its head. the pelewensis almost looks like a zebra but with a dash of orange thrown in there. oh and dot and dash butterflies (up to 5 inches but usually around 3.5 in captivity) are very beautiful too. all three IMO are stunning specimens of butterflies and im sure there are many more . whatever you get make sure YOU like it. good luck!

It is a really good idea to select the fancy fish you want and build around it.

Be picky...there are so many beautiful fish...so take your time in selecting, to help in your search...I have a book with pictures, feeding, behaviors, even the size tank to keep them, it has been useful to me...here is a picture of the book and a page so you can see what am talking about. I highly recommend it.
