IMHO you'd be better off to get some live rock, a bunch of it, before adding any other fish. That volitans is a pretty heavy bioload by itself and I'd want to have as much biofiltration as I could if I was thinking about putting in anything else.

Get the rock, and u could get an angel, but id get it as a juvy. Not big enough for a lion to eat, and it will stay in yer tank longer. Id recommend a rock beauty angel cuz they stay on the smaller size when full grown, and they are very beautiful. Another fish... Harlequin tusk? Or some other sort of a wrasse. Wrasse are nice open swimming fish, and colorful to boot.

Rock Beauty is one of the more difficult-to-care-for angels because of its unique dietary requirement. They need lots of sponges in their diet. Even though it might seemingly feed well and look healthy, it wouldn't live very long without a proper diet. I personally like Annularis because of its subtly gorgeous color and hardiness. I'd agree on Harlequin, too.
