hi, sure you get a Snow flake eel, I have one myself, very nice eels! You could also get a dwarf lion or 2. I'd have to know the dimensions of your tank though to give most accurate idea of what you could put in there. Maybe a toby or wrasse. I have a snowflake eel with a dwarf fuzzy lion, porcupine puffer, yellow head eel and bluelined grouper, all get along fine! You could do a grouper depending on your tank dimensions but I would reccomend against it for the long run so maybe some anthias or hawk fish.
Good luck!

im picking it up tonight, but i was told its 47 inches long, 18 inches deep, 21 inches up. it sounded smaller than an 80 gal to me but i guess ill have to look at it. could i do any types of triggers?

Hi, sounds like about 75 to 80 gallon. About the fish list, triggers are iffy. Depends on what type. If its just the SFE and say a picasso trigger, you could probably get away with it as long as eel is not real small and trigger is not real big, and the other way around.

No, the volitan will eventually get too big for the 75....

no to volatins, no to groupers, and no to tangs, the lion would grow to 15 inches which is very big, it could be done yes but it would not be healthy, the grouper would get HUGE and the tang needs a LOT of swimming room! if you got this for the SFE then id say get like 2-3 dwarf lions and call it a day... anntenatta look very cool and so do fuzy dwarfs! you could even get another SFE to go with this stock list no problem just stay away from some of the real big fish with an 80.. just a little to small

well, a volitan is big, but you could stock with a few dwarf lions but I think having more
than one lionfish in a tank detracts from the look of each other but you cloud do it if you wanted, maybe a hamlet or even a blue lined grouper which stay on the small side for grouper standards but would be pushin it a little.

thanks guys...but let me make it clear i never intended to put a grouper or tang in my tank...so...thanks i suppose.i really only wanted two fish in the tank. i am running a 55 fowlr and a nano reef so another 3 or 4 fish would just be too much. but i understand that the volitans can get huge so i think i might lean towards a couple of dwarf lions. i dig em! thanks for the help everyone
