Im finally getting to turn over my 90 into a FOWLR and I was thinking of what I could put in there. Maybe a frogfish, trigger, wrasse, tang combo? im looking for a couple of fish with nice colors.
Im not too familiar with all of the different things I can do because Ive been sticking to Seahorses and Octos this whole time, so im looking for some suggestions. Thanks!

not community but not totally agressive like clown trigger. more semi aggresive-community I think.
hmmm for a 90 community aggresive,
if you like eels, a SFE, a one spot foxface, maroon clown, school of chromis, not aggresive but will fit the community part and add movement, not sure what else can go in a 90 but those are just some ideas.

snowflake eel, one of the most docile eels we can keep in our aquariums. besides chromis, an assortment of damsels, you can do a type of dwarf angel too in a 90

Do you think I can do like a green bird wrasse with a sailfin disjardinii tang a Niger triger and like 3 chromis? Or is that pushing the space in my tank? Would anything bother eachother in that combo? I would be worried about the tang I think
. Thanks for the quick responses and the help btw haha

I believe a green bird wrasse needs ike a 125 min. because they like alot of swimming space but someone correct me if im wrong... I think u'd be ok with the tang or the trigger, not both. and you can do more than 3 chromis if you want. maybe look through the fish list on SWF that would fit into your description of community aggresive tank, then post your list here and we can help out with a list for you... I dont want to suggest stuff for a 90 if it won't be ok, I know more about aggressive fish in bigger tanks but I only keep morays and some damsels...
but if you make a list of some stuff you like, I'm glad to help you make a list...

Yea I think I heard that before too but I wasn't sure. Ha this sounds like fun
well to get the list started I like emperor angles, copperband butterflies, green chromis, powder brown or any other tang exept the yellow, and Niger trigger. I think that my favorite are the white frogfish, lunare or any other wrasse, blue throught trigger and desajardinii sailfin tang though. That would be great if they all could live together haha. And definatley suggest some things too thanks!

Bluethroat trig
D.Sailfin tang
3-5 chromies
Mystery wrasse
Flagfin angel
Imperator Angel to big longterm-Butterflies need well established tanks- not a good choice to start with.
Just a couple colorful semi agg. fish.

Ha! I think I might have my list!

Clown Tang
D. Sailfin tang
White Fogfish (or 5 green chromis)
Lightning wrasse
Blue Jaw trigger
Hows this sound for a 90? anything else I should add/subtract?

Both Tangs should be removed from this list. The Desjardini will grow fast and will be the size of a dinner plate when full grown. The Clown tang is difficult to keep and VERY aggressive, in addition he will also outgrow that tank. Both of the fish honestly need a 180 long term. However there are other tangs that would do well in a 90 long term. Most of the Zebrasoma family (yellow, purple, scopas) blue hippo, whitecheek, and Tomini tangs would all fair much better in that tank. I also would only do one tang in that tank (my choice would be a tomini or purple)
If I was to stack your tank I would do something like
Tomini Tang
Pakastani Butterflyfish
Lemonpeel Angel
Sufflamen (Lei or Blue belly) or a Pink Tail Trigger
A school of chromis or 3 or 4 yellow and green wrasses

oh ok thank you. I asumed a D. sailfin would be fine because it says 90, I belive the Purple tang says 90 too though. I havent reasearched much so far but why would a Purple be better than the sailfin? Im not trying to challenge you or anything and Im sure you know more about this but I was just wondering. I think im leaningf towards a more tang, trigger, wrasse combination too.

A Desjardini gets around 16" inches long and will be just as tall. A Purple tang will get around 7 to 8 inches full grown

I would recomend only one tang. But that list is better but I would pick either the lunare or the frogfish but not both

i agree only one tang for your 90- what happened to your angel? they are great fish...Lemon peels R nice, i just happen to have a Flagfin and love his persona!!! have him with a fuzzy RED dwarf lionfish and couple yellowtail damsels..Dinner plate fish r your best choice of fish if you decide on a frogfish as they r less likely to become menu items
as it grows
