I'M LOOKING TO GET OPINIONS ON FISH THAT I WOULD LIKE TO STOCK IN A NEAR FUTURE 400 GALLON TANK (96"LONG, 36"DEEP, 30"TALL) WITH 150GALLON COMBINED REFUGIUM/SUMP AND 300-400LB LR. I KNOW SOME FISH MAY NOT BE COMPATIBLE OR THERE MAY BE TOO MANY ON HE LIST, THATS WHY I WANTED EVERYBODY'S ADVICE. I AM PUTTING AN (***) NEAR THE FISH I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO HAVE.
-IMPERIOR OR MACULOSUS ANGEL
-QUEEN ANGEL ***
-BLUEFACE ANGEL ***
-FOXFACE LO RABBITFISH
-TESSALATA OR ZEBRA EEL
-MINIATUS GROUPER***
-SPOTTED GROUPER OR GOLDEN HAMLET GROUPER
-VOLITAN LIONFISH
-GOLDEN PUFFER***
-HARLEQUIN TUSK WRASSE***
-GREEN BIRD WRASSE***
-BLONDE NASO TANG
-CLOWN TRIGGER?? OR PICASO OR BLUELINED TRIGGER
-FALSE PERCULA CLOWN FISH
JUST KIDDIN ABOUT THE LAST ONE

DO YOU THINK THIS IS TOO MANY FISH OR MORE COULD BE ADDED, COMPATABILITY AN ISSUE? I ONLY HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH A FEW FISH IN A 55GALLON. SO ANYBODY OUT THERE WITH BIG AGGRESIVE TANKS PLEASE HELP. :notsure: :help:

Well your list does not sound too bad except for the fact that you have 3 angelfish on the list. Also, you may experience problems with a clown trigger and a lion also. I would probably leave out the lion and do a few triggers (clown, humu humu, and maybe a nice sized niger).

THANKS FOR ADVICE ABOUT LION AND TRIGGER. I HAD A FEELING THAT WAS A BAD IDEA. AS FOR THE 3 ANGELS, I WAS TOLD BY LFS THAT I COULD GET ANGELS OF DIFFERENT GENUS AND THEY WOULD GET ALONG FINE: IMPERIOR-pomacanthus,BLUEFACE-euxiphipops, AND QUEEN-holacanthus. IS THIS NOT TRUE? JUST WANT TO MAKE SURE BEFORE I MAKE A BIG MISTAKE.
THANKS AGAIN

The angels aren't a problem, IMO. I have 4 in my 420.
I'd ditch the clown trigger and the blue lined, too aggressive.
Add a couple of tangs for color and your good to go.
LOL

I think the big angels will fight, unless you intorduce them all at the same time...You can get one large species then a smaller spiecies..(and i don't mean a small angel that gets big)
I know my emporer angel is one tough MOFO.

What Does Everyone Think About The Two Groupers, Will They Be Allright In There If Other Fish Are Bigger Than Them?

I had a emperor large and she didnt let any angels in her tank. But this is the only angel I had to do this. I had blue faces b4 to and their not all that agressive probly best to get a larger size blueface .

i've been to denise's before, patnaudes- i don't really like, i find their tanks and fish to either look really sick or dead (i wouldn't buy a snail from their saltwater collection.) i usually go to rumfords, the coral reef in swansea/seekonk, and sea creatures in n. providence. have you ever beeen to fishy business down the cape, i hear they are pretty good.

coral reef aquarium-1464 fall river ave (rt 6) seekonk,ma 02771. if you take exit for cardi's: go past cardi's, take a rt on route 6, head down a ways before you hit busy shopping area. its on the rt. hand side just before you hit the light where tito's cantina is, it's in a small plaza next to an exotic bird shop. (its easy to miss). they have some cool bigger fish in a display tank, angels,puffers,triggers,etc...

Just to let you know, I have 2 large angels, one gray and one koran. They have been getting along great with each other for over a year. These 2 are in a 120 high right now and they are getting larger. I have my 240 long cycling right now. If you go with the blond naso tang you can also get a yellor or purple tang. They would add a lot of color.
