When i stock my tank how should i do it? Hardiest to most delicate or biggest to smallest or coarls first then inverts the fish?
Any help will be appriated
heartiest first, if for no other reason than as a test, also you should take into consideration aggression factors, and diet, some fish really should be added last due to aggression or dietary needs, this is why you really should think your stocking through before starting and not just think i want docile community fish or something like that
Of course the first fish you put in you want to be the hardiest. This is what i did
1. two damsels(removed for agressiveness)
2. 2 clowns
3. spotted hawkfish
4. pearlescale butterfly
The second fish can be less hardy then the first but still fairly hardy a good second fish would be clowns, porcupine fish, and hawkfish.
For the rest of the fish they don't have to be hardy at all so just put what you want in.
