Hello
I have couple questions. I have 29g reef tank, And i have 2 perc. clowns and 1 coral beauty but they are in QT and hypo because i got ich on coral beauty. I was reading some info about coral beauty Some said Coral beauty can eat corals and she should be in minimum 40g tank. So is my tank too small for her? and if i still keep her am i risking the corals and stress her again and cause another ich outbrake? I need help on this one because after reading some info about Coral Beauty i talked with LFS the manager of the store said he can trade my coral beauty with 6line and royal gramma. So if i trade her with 6line and royal gramma will all my fishes get alone with each other and corals?
Thanks

While the Coral Beauty is a wonderful fish, she really does love to have room to swim. The LFS is offering you a pretty decent deal so as long as you believe the 6 line and the gramma are healthy I would go ahead and do the trade. If you keep the Beauty you'll have to get rid of her eventually because she will definately outgrow a 29. If you get rid of her, you've also gotten rid of your ich problem. Good luck!!!

6line and royal are very healty. None of the livestock died from that store i got. Only concern i have is 6line. Some post said they can get aggrasive to other fishes and they can kill other fishes and inverts. Is that the general behavior for 6lines?
Thanks

All 6 Lines that I've ever dealt with have been very peaceful fish. It is a wrasse so it could nip at somethin once in a while but I highly doubt they'd do any serious harm.

Thanks. I feel better now :) I really want to have 6line.
So last question. If i get one more fish, like a goby beside 2 percs. 1 6line and gramma. Am i pushing too much to 29g?

In my opinion, you will be fine with that stock.
Also, the fish you have selected should be fine. I've never had a problem with gramma, sixline, or a pair of clowns getting along.

Thanks. I know i shouldnt put 2 fishes in sametime but if i put goby and 6line at the sametime and after 2 weeks royal gramma would that be ok? or should i put 6line last?

As long as you have good filtration running I think you're fine with adding 2 small fish at the same time. Out of those three, the Royal Gramma is probably the most aggressive so you might consider adding him last and giving the others time to stake out some territory. On the other hand, the 6 Line would prefer to be added to a tank that has had some time to mature so you might consider putting him in last. Its not a huge deal but either way you need to let that 6 Line have time to establish his own territory. After that, 6 Lines are usually very hardy and active fish. Hope everything works out!

So to answer your question, yes, I think it would be fine to put the Goby and Wrasse in at the same time. Wait 2 weeks and then add your Gramma. I doubt you'll have any problems with that.

Thanks alot.
I have 45lbs live rock and 30lbs live sand in 29g. Skimmer is running 24/7 . I run carbon once a week. I hope its good enough filtration.
I will set up HOB fuge for pod supply to 6line. My tank is almost 5 months old now. And i am hoping that 6line will be okay with other foods too :) For goby any suggestion?
Thanks again.

Yeah the diamond goby would also be a great choice. I've got 2 of them and they're by far the best sand sifters ever.
