on my recently received fiji rock it had an awesome ..Purple with white spots stone crab on it..it is very small ..but would it be safe to keep in my tank, or would you trash him now or is he safe to keep for awhile
they are pretty harmless as long as they stay small, if he gets big enough and hungry enough he might have some snail fresh from the shell for a treat .
My friend lost nearly all of his motile inverts to a stone crab no bigger than a nickle. Those things are aquarium al qaida. Toss it with a vengance. If you want stone crabs go to joe's. Do not try to grow your own.
