so there is this algea blooming all over one of my live rocks and i dont know was it is, i was wondering if anybody had pictures or knew of a previous thread identifying different algeas...Its bright green and is just one strand like thick hairs but bright green and they are sprouting up off the rock about 1cm apart...anyway just curious if anyone had any idea where i could find such thread or if someone could help at all...thanks

It does look like some kind of macroalgea....caulerpa or halimeda...who knows. Can you take a better picture?

How bigs your tank. That stuff looks like a yellow tangs smörgåsbord delite to me, that is if you want it to disappear.
