Strange behavior from Green Chromii

lol I don't know if it's Chromises or Chromii or just Chromis...
But anyways, I have a small school of 3 of them and they just like to huddle around and behind my Ebo Jager heater....all the time. Is this normal? A few times out of every day, a couple of them will swim around the tank, but other than that they spend the majority of their time near the heater, at the top of the water column. Do any of you guys have any ideas of why they're doing this?

I have blue-greens, which are cousins, and they do stick together, but more out in the open. You may need to increase your "school". These fish don't really do well outside of the "school" community. 3 isn't really a "school". I'd say 5 min.

I have two and they are all over the tank, out in the open, then diving through the rocks, and then back out. they do kiss a lot though.

Hey Beth, are blue-greens simular in behavior as greens? I heard that greens are the most peaceful of the damsels??? I have recently put back the 2nd purple firefish (in a refugium) in the main tank to see if I can have the a successful 'mating/buddy' pair. I think that firefish school better than purples??? I want to add a green chromis, but I thought of just 1. Will that be okay & will I need to be concern with what I have listed below???
