Strange Clown Trigger!

My clown trigger is strange. He's normal all day, darting here and there. But around 10 pm (lights off at 11), he gets weird. He hides behind the live rock and gets pale; the black around his spots turns a light shade of grey. I'll go to the side to check on him and he'll dart out and his color comes back. Anyone else witness this?

they change color as a sign of emotion. make sure when the lights go off it isnt completly dark in the room. or there might be something in the room that is stressing him out that he can only see when the lights go off

thats perfectly normal for clown triggers to do. they will also get pale during feeding times. Is he a new fish? also, make sure there is enough lr for him to feel safe in during sleeping hours.
