strange gsp behavior

what is going on my mushrooms and my xenia and all fish are doing great except my larger piece of gsp is not coming out, the smaller piece i fragged two weeks ago is doing allright, are there any special needs for these or is it just some wierd fluke . there is also a very small brittle star living inside it

gsp are known to do this. they close up for awhile. give them some time and they should come back out within the next week.

OMG i think i know what happened upon further inspection i realized that my water temp was up to 91 degrees luckily nothing died

Bring it back down slowly...a couple of degrees per day at most. If you try to drop it from 91 to 80 within minutes or hours you can do more damage than good.

in my opinion 75 is to low, you should be shooting for 78-81 I keep mine at 82 and I know a lot of people that keep it up that high.

yeah 75 is too cold 78-80 is good, 82 is as high as you should ever get but 82 is also optimum for coral growth but it pretty much the breaking point.
