Strange Hitch-hiker needs id ...

Would this strange thing be an American Glass Eel? Its about 4" long and just noticed last night. The pics are in the unk hitch-hiker folder.

a while back someone else had a pic of a hitch hicker like that and everyone sait it was a glass eel. i think the said it was an endangered species but im not sure about that i could be wrong. someone else may know though.

ya remembered the post but couldn't find it UFO-Unknown Fishy Object lol is all that sticks in mind on it.
Anyways, I read up on the glass eel's and they don't seem to be reef safe - feed on crusteacions - perhaps where my scarlet hermits have been going??? A lil concerned here.

It looks alot like the other post, I would venture to guess that it is an American glass eel. They do feed almost exclusivly on crustacians too.

Klee, do a search, they are fairly interesting critters. And they are an indangered species too.

I have seen freshwater glass eel's at the LFS that look like that. Thats probably what it is...
