I have a saddle vanentini puffer and when he sleeps completely vertical with his mouth in the air stuck to the side of come of the decor. I am not worried about him just curious if any one elses fish sleep like this?

my tang sleeps vertically behind the heaters everynight, and I've had him for awhile...so I wouldn't worry about it. As long as it is still active when it is not sleeping, It shouldnt even phase you.
and puffers are wierd anyway, mine just passes in the middle of the tank on the substrate.

What about clowns - i got one the other day and this morning he was kinda swimming at the top by the thermometer but on one side, then he would switch to the other side. He wasnt very active and it was at 6 am. Hope this is just his "sleeping" patern.
