Strawberry Hermit Crab

Hi all
There is a huge strawberry hermit crab at my LFS that I am thinking of getting. I have searched here and I keep finding info about strawberry crabs, but those aren't the same as the huge hermit crab that I am debating bringing home.
I have a 125 FOWLR tank. It is stocked with:
1 Juvi Cortez angel
1 Flame angel
2 Perc. clowns
1 large Yellow Tang
1 Green Chromis
2 medium-large cleaner shrimp
2 green brittle stars of some variety...not sure what type. One is huge, one is still a baby about the size of a half dollar. It hitchhiked in on the larger starfish.
1 good sized Scarlet leg hermit crab
Will the monster strawberry hermit harm any of my livestock?

Never heard of Strawberry Hermit
Heard of Strawberrys ( hawaiian ) but they are not hermits. They have their own shell and most grow into fish killers.
Scarlet hermits ( red legs ) are like any other hermit crab and less aggressive than Blue legs IMO.

I would definitely not recommend purchasing one of those hermits. It is most likely very aggressive, and just something that you do not want.

In case anyone still cares, I had a bad experience with a strawberry hermit. It pinned down and ate half of my green brittle in minutes! So I give it to my LFS and it tripled in size within weeks.

i have one as well. very passave, but he is in my 125 reef and the only thing i can say bd about him is he climbs up things and pulls rocks down. very frusterating

i have a huge one he was cool as col can be not aggressive at all until one day he was tryig to climb up my rockwork he had lost his shell cause it got stuck so he immediatly turned his but inmto the rockwork for cover on his backside my shark happened to lay ontop of his shell thats when he flipped and starting going crazy nipping at my shark and anythign that came by hiim until i finally got his shell and put it next to himt o climb back in... People told me how crazy they are but i gave him a try anyway ...Still love him but the poor guy live sin my sumpp now!
