Hi i was hoping that someone may have some software that can rip streaming audio??? There is a website that is based in the UK( www.breakbeat.co.uk ) and i am in the states, and they have the best live dj sets i have ever heard yet, they dont sell them, and i cant figure out a way to rip it to my computer, i know there is software out there, but i havent been able to find, anyone know of any? or have any that they may want to hook me up with or trade, etc etc

I don't know of any software that is capable of ripping streaming audio, but what I do to capture streaming audio (even then, I only capture what I'm legally entitled to) is to output the computer's audio into a recording device (my preference is Mini Discs). The audio usually requires a little remastering, so I'll dump it back into the computer and clean it up in Pro Tools.

yeah its not illegal to rip it from this site, for that it is free to listen as much as i desire, so my thought was the same, which is to run it to a recording device..and then import it back to clean it up. understood, but there was someone that i remember who actually had software that could rip it as you listened
the other thing about this, that tells me its possible is that i dont need to be connected to the internet once its playing, it downloads to my computer....but then removes itself once i restart my computer...

I use Adobe Audition 1.5 for recording, just buy a cheap mic and record it, clean it up with noise reduction and what not, or if you want you can IM on AIM or YIM and I'll go step by step for you
