stress on corals?

I came in from work today and my corals were looking really strange. Colt coral drooping, frogspawn all drawn up, pimple mushrooms withered. The hairy mushrooms, blue and red mushrooms were okay as were the feather dusters. Everything yesterday evening looked great. Water tested okay for everything except slightly high nitrates, did a water change again (just did one about four days ago). Local thinks they are under some type of stress but didn't really know.
I use RO/DI water. For the water changes use RO/DI with Instant Ocean salt, bought premixed from store and still let sit for a week with airstone. I have a 55 gallon with wet/dry and protein skimmer with power head in the front for circulation. We have only had this tank for about four months.
Why would everything change so suddenly?

I have been adding calcium, iodine, essential elements, stontium & molybdenum, and superbuffer dKH. All elements are testing okay as well (the ones they test for - calcium for sure). I also add Zoe to the food and then a capful every week for the inverts. Everything that I add is by Kent. - JSB
