I need some advice on some great lighting...I want to have corals, and anemones but I do not want to have it too bright. would 130w be enough?
Please give me suggestions.

I have a 250watt halide over my 29 and I think it looks great. It doesn't seem overly bright. I don't think that 130watts would be enough unless it was t-5s with individual reflectors and even then I'm not sure it would be enough.

T5s would be enough. I dont know about for SPS. But would definitly be enough.
PC lights just dont cut it.
I have a 150W MH light over my tank, I plan on somehow making a mount for my 2 T5 lights. It would bring me up to 198Watts. enough for SPS and clams.
But I have seen guys with a 29 and only 150W MH light keeping SPS.

130 watts of PC would be enough for Softies and LPS. Wouldn't attempt an anemone, clams or SPS. Look into T5 and Metal halide. Don't be fooled by the price of a PC fixture. Cheap early on but after 7 or 8 months you will have to replace the bulbs. A 65 watt PC bulb will run you close to 40 bucks.

Thanks for all the replies. I guess that I have alot of thinking to do. I know this hobby is very expensive (been there done that already).

I use a 150 watt MH DE light over my 29 with a 20K XM bulb... not too bright and everything is happy.
