Stubborn Cucumber...!

The reason for the question is that I bought a Pink Knobby cucumber a couple of weeks ago and climbed the glass all the way up, and has been there ever since. Yesterday during a water change, the water level that I had to replace was lower than where the cuc was....
Does it hurt the cucumber if you have to lower the water level past where the "Stubborn" Cucumber that would not detach from the glass, while you change your water...?
He was halfway out of the water for 5 minutes max, while I had my wife pour water on it, since the part that was out of the water, was his head.

Baron,
Thanks for your quick response... I tried nudging, tickling him, everything but ripping him off the glass, which would be a crime.... he is stuck to that glass like a barnicle under an old boat...
He did continue to filter feed right after the water change, so I gather that he is ok... We poured water on him constantly, and he had already retracted his tentacles during this feat.... :D
Anyone else ever had to deal with this...?

Are yours also Pink Knobby Cucumbers...?
If so, have you ever seen them process your sand for dirt....?

If this is what you have it is a filter feeder and will not do anything with your sand
(mine has been in this spot for 6 months)

Yea BT...I asked the same question about my pink knobby a while back...
Same deal...immediately climbed halfway up the glass to a good spot with lots of flow and has filter fed there ever since. It does seem that this spp. of cuke may be misrepresented as a filter feeder at some lfs and online suppliers...
Curious...are y'all getting the pink knobbys from Fishsupply?
BTW Baron...he's not kidding...they are superglued to the glass...considering the huge number of tube feet on the ventral side of this spp., I think you can easily injure the cuke if you successfully detached him...
Hard to say...
Peace...

Baron,
Yes that's the one.... And I did try to gently roll him off.... Kung Fu, you know what I mean, this sucker will not come off.... Oh well, guess he will have to get used to getting water poured on him during water changes...!
He does look cool as H_ll when he filter feeds..!
BTW I got the neighbor all pissed off because his 5 year old son comes over to play with mine and I told him that I picked up the Alien (Pink cuke)at the NASA facility.... It's an Alien Secrete...! This kid ran home and has been pestering his Mom and Dad for the past week that Mr. BT_1999_66 has a real alien....
Just thought I would share that with you guys.... :D

Hey Kung Fu,
You need to go to neptunes in hylands ranch!!!
They have a hammer coral that is huge it is in around a 100 gal tank and It takes up the whole tank!!!!
They said they grew it?

Deuce...
Where is Neptune's anyway...I've heard about it but not been there (bummer too 'cause I was just down to Reef Gallery the past week to pick up a Kole Tang, a Cleaner Shrimp, and a few odds and ends...)
You know I've read that hammers, frogspawn, and torch (the Euphylla spp.?) can outgrow just about any tank if you give them time!
I'll definitely stop by and see it next time I'm down that way!!!
Thanks!
Peace...
Also off topic...I dropped by Ocean's Apart the other day too just to see it...and I hate to be a downer but I wasn't all that impressed!
