Sorry about the confusion about the skimmer. I had to check the box to make sure...yes it is an amiracle brand 18" counter current skimmer.

I'll get the tapwater filter. Isn't it s somewhat similar to a r/o? Or does it remove heavy metals, phospates, etc... For 15.00 who could pass that up.
