Stuff left behind snail on rock?

You will have to excuse the nasty diatoms, but I just finished cycling my tank and I added 3 snails and a few hermits. I noticed today that there are these soft cyclindrical tube things left behind from a snail. This snail has been working all over this rock all day. I am not sure what these are, any help is appreciated!!

Should I just let it be? Or siphon it out? He must have had to shi* alot today! LOL, its all over the rock where it was working.

LOL...That means he was doing his job and eating

Do what you want with it LOL I never siphon mine, but I can't get to most of it in the 225G
