Stuff on-top of water

For the past three weeks the ammonia has read .25

Looks like you still need a bit of time on the cycle. But go ahead an do a water change 10 to 20% & wait another week.

I was always planning on a 20% water change, well when I do the water change ill tell you guys if it has changed any.

And if this is a new tank, that white stuff on top might be particles from the sand you added. I don't know what type of sand you used, but when i placed my aragonite into my aquarium I had white spots and foam for a few weeks.
