Don't fret it. He'll do what he wants. Stubborn people will either take your advice or they won't. If they won't, it isn't your fault or your problem. If he wants to clean up 55 gallons of water and broken glass or kill a handful of shark eggs, he'll learn his lesson eventually. Try to convince him and then let him learn for himself.

I actually hope it happens sooner than later. I mean, it could take a while before it finally cracks, and if that happens, he'll think that we were all wrong.
But, by the looks of his pictures of the room this is in, he's not a neat and careful person, so it will probably break soon. I'm betting on the bottom blowing out along witht he front panel and all those electronics are going to be ruined

This person is not just inexperienced and stubborn, he is an idiot. There is a difference. The tank thing was silly enough and kind of funny. The put a fish in a tank that isn't cycled is even forgivable, but this person didn't even wait for the salt to dissolve nor has any idea what the SG is. This is a person that we should let flounder and get out of the hobby, the only information we should share is GET A BOOK..If he really wants to learn, he should start reading.
