DId I do somehting wrong by buying cleaner clams for my main tank?
I thought it would be cool to put them in the snad right in front,, well the next morning they were GONE, Missing. Ok, So I was told they bury themselves.. does that mean FOREVER? I just cant find them.. AND they didnt look like they could move to me..
Are CLEANER CLAMS ONLY for reugiums? I am just thinking that god forbid one dies, tis gonna ROT under my sandbed. ??

I'd wait a few more days and if you still don't see any signs of them, start digging around the sandbed. Better to find them than have them die unnoticed and crash your tank, IMO.
Could they have been eaten?

Thanks, I'll do that. Do you think they "travel" or will sort of stay close to where I put them>?? LOL

will move where ever they want to and be careful digging friend had bought a horseshoe when he first set up his tank and had forgotten about it and was looking for a burrowing snail and got a spike through his finger and I have heard some worms do the same thing
