Shouldnt hurt ya Dan , I touch my BTA when I feed it.... my wife touches our carpet anemone ... I call her crazy but she hasnt been affected by t and it hasnt affected the carpet... acctually he gets larger, I think it likes the stimulation..

Mine did the same thing. Put him in the tank two days ago and he's attached to the bottom of a rock hanging upside down! He is full and fluffy though! He attached to the area the Sally Lightfoot likes to hang out in, so Sally isn't real happy. I touched mine as well and he doesn't sting. I don't know what kind he is. He has purple tips? Does anyone know?

Looks like a long tentical anemone... LTA
Dan to get your anemone off of a rock freeze some saltwater on a stick and rub his foot with it ... he will let go right away and it doesnt hurt him
