Stupid Shrimp!

I had two peppermint shrimp in my 75 gallon and I had not seen them in like 2 days. Well It turns out They climbed into my overflow box and got sucked into my sump!! Well I assumed this happened but never checked and when I did I was mad!!

Well when they got sucked down they where stuck in a bag that is covering the pipe! (to stop air bubbles) Well I covered up the pipe and got 1 more peppermint shrimp! Hopefully he has better luck! I am glad I got him! He seems happier than the others!!

That’s too bad... but what are you going to do to stop it for happing again?

if you have a overflow/prefilter you need to cover the little slots with some screening or something to prevent critters from accidentally getting in there. This will happen with fish and inverts.
