I have been thinking of changing the cc over to ls in my aggresive tank but I am worried about the lack of having a cleanup crew for the sand due to having a toby puffer that seems to love anything that I have tried to used for cleaning as far as critters go. Should I just stick with the cc or is the an alternative to the cleanup crew for sand that I don't know about? I have tried hermits and snails but that just makes my puffer fat and happy!

Do the change to sand the cc holds so much crap in it and run a uv and a fuge and you should be good that is what I do and do water changes every week. Oh yeah and watch the overfeeding and you should be all right.

So I won't have to wrroy about having a cleanup crew for the ls? Hope not because to be truthful I am getting tired of messing with the cc, lfs advice bombs again!

I don't have any inverts my trigger will eat any I put in the tank . I use filtered water run a uv and a fuge no problems.

If you want tog o to sand, I've got about 70 lbs for sale for $50. I am changing my sand out for all white sand. This sand came with my tank, and I'm not one that likes it.
