If i already have cc for substrate can't I just pour ls on top of it? If not what kind of procedure do I need to do? It's a 40 gallon with a few anemones and about 30lbs of lr. Will adding new substrate cause my tank to cycle?
Do I simply just scoop the cc out and pour the LS in while the water is still in the tank? Should the bed be about 3 or 4 inches deep? Also, can I leave the live rock, anemone's, and hermit crabs in the tank while replacing the cc?
