Sucessfully keeping a Red Cris Wrasse?

Hello,im interested in keeping a coris gaimard, but when searching different inernet sites they say its very difficult to keep the red coris alive,does anybody have any advice to successfully keeping them alive other than giving them deep sand bed, your advice would be greatly appreciated,thanks!

Giving them an appropriately sized home (read at least 6' long, 18" deep). These are fish that will grow very fast, on their way to easily a foot in most aquariums. Sand bed is important as they do bury at night. LFS had a 15" Red Coris in, and it was quite the sight to see him dive into the sand.

gorgeous fish. From their odd juvenile coloring to the extreme of the adult coloring and the size. As long as you have a large enough tank for this fish to grow you shouldnt have a problem. They do grow FAST, and can be housed with semi-aggressive to very aggressive fish. Shouldnt be a problem, good luck.
