could a person have to many Asterina stars. i have hundreds on the front of my tank and was woundering if i should get rid of some.??? any thoughts....

well i dont really know, but if i were you i would remove some just to be safe
btw, i have a lot of those in my tank and they've multiplied like nuts!

If they are not the coral eaters then of course it's safe, they just look ugly. If you don't have any decorative stars then you might benefit from a harlequin shrimp or two.

Get rid of em man. Get a harlequin shrimp or start pullin em out. They all turn evil and start eating ur polyps

If you have a few, and they are not the coral eating kind,
then none of their offspring will be either, even if they create many. But they do get ugly to look at...

haha sure did...
Had the same rock for yrs... And always had plenty then all of a sudden they went psycho on me. I pulled out ovr 500.. Now if I see em theyre goners!!

I have 2 and their little savages I get the LFS to pick all the mini sunstars they have in their big tanks and keep them for me. They're so neat to watch it looks like their boxing when they walk around.

yeah i took out about 200 of them. just looked like crap. i am thinking about getting a harlequin soon.
